I have a very keen interest in gardening but never quite seem to fully get to grips with it. Despite subscribing to gardening magazines, reading books, attending courses and simply 'having a go' I still feel my gardening skills are very limited.
I took voluntary redundancy last year with a specific aim of improving my gardening abilities. However, progress was hindered by various physical issues from pulled muscles and a bad back to raging headaches and of course the washout of the summer. This year with a new allotment in tow and some friendly chickens I am determined not to let either the weather or ailments deter me.
I live in a small cottage in a little village in Kent, with my partner, cat and chickens.
